Biographie of the author

To Alain Guilou photography is an adventure, un art de vivre. He went around the world walking, flying balloons or ultra-lights, sailing and using thousand of other means of transportation with a permanent quest to meet people, opening eyes on new horizons that we did not imagine they could exist.

Sponsored by the prestigious Leica Camera manufacturer he established a friendship with Malcolm S.Forbes who like to say him : "Alain you wrire better with your pictures than I do with words ! "

He met Nancy Reagan, sailed on swedish Navy schooners, shot face to face a killer wave in North Atlantic while sailng on his favourite sailships l'Etoile and La Belle-Poule, he share the dayly life of those fishermen of the Nile River. his numerous features stories where broadly publish by the largest international magazines.

Hang gliding Pionneer he created in the 70 ties the Balloon Safaris in Kenya as one of the two main share holder of Air Libre Sarl of Kenyan Balloons Ltd.
